Mr. Chung is an attorney at law who specializes in litigation and also a pharmacist who has a lot of experiences in pharmaceutical industries. He handles all phases of civil, criminal and administrative litigations. In addition he provides counsel to clients about legal matters related to intellectual property law, pharmaceutical affairs law and so on.
Before joining KASAN, he worked for Yuhan Corporation, which is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Korea from 1994 to 2003. While working at Yuhan Corporation, he took charge of tasks relating to trademark application and registration, the development and licensing of new products and new drug approval by the KFDA.
Mr. Chung was an active member of "Teuk Yak Hoi" composed of staffs taking charge of intellectual property law at each pharmaceutical companies from 1994 to 1997 and he was also the first leading manager of the society of OTC products study composed of each companies' managers for the purpose of studying regulations relating to pharmaceutical affairs in 2003.
Mr. Chung is presently a member of the Korean Bar Association and the Korean Pharmaceutical Association.
Mr. Chung received a B.S. in pharmaceutics from Choong-Ang University in 1994 and passed through pre-MBA course at the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, Philippines, in 1999.
Mr. Chung passed the Korean bar examination in 2006 and majored in patent law and copyright law at the Judicial Research & Training Institution.
He is good command of English and familiar with Japanese translation.
