Mr. Chae drafts and prosecutes patent applications in the field of Electrical and Electronic engineering and Information Technology.
He handles all phases of intellectual property including the procurement of patents, patent trials and litigation, and providing counsel in connection with these matters.
Before joining the firm, he worked as a software engineer for Coretrust Co., Ltd., and VirtualDigm Co., Ltd.. While working for these firms, he was involved in several projects related to digital rights management systems and Embedded systems.
In his undergraduate course, he acquired a broad and an in-depth knowledge of the field of computer science and industrial engineering. His specialty areas include computer networks, embedded systems, computer securities, database systems and e-business systems.
He received a B.S. in 2003 in computer science and industrial engineering from Yonsei University.
He passed the Korean patent bar examination in 2008.
He has a good command of English.
