Mr. Kim drafts and prosecutes patent applications in the field of industrial chemistry, electrical and electronic engineering, and new materials. He handles all phases of intellectual property including procurement of patents, patent trials and litigation, and provides counsel in connection with these matters.
Before joining the firm, he worked at Sung-Woo International Patent Law Office, where he gained an extensive experience in various areas of intellectual property.
He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Sogang University in 2001.
Mr. Kim passed the Korean patent bar examination in 2006, and completed the patent attorney training program at the International IP Training Institute in Korea.
He has a good command of English and Japanese.
